Thankful

I am getting really pumped about what lies in store at Codercamps! I am realizing how lucky I am to (A) have been accepted for this opportunity; (B) have the support of my wife, Sue, and family (Tim, 15, and Katie, 4).  I am really enjoying this period of doing coding prep work, checking out other camper's blogs, and imagining not only what life at camp will be like, but also what might lie in store beyond camp.  It is truly an adventure and I'm truly grateful for the opportunity!

Hey hey, I am through the Code academy HTML/CSS tutorial.  I spoke with my current employers about a leave of absence, and they are excited about my opportunity.  A leave should be no problem. Next, a little fun-time to go get a new laptop!! Have a good'n!

Just starting out.

Hey all-I am so looking forward to this adventure, meeting new people, and launching a new career!  I can't wait to meet the rest of Troop 29.  I went through the HTML and CSS tutorials on W3Schools, and I'm going to finish Code academy's Web Fundamentals tutorial soon.  I'm lucky to have the summer off so I can (hopefully) get up to speed to get the most out of the camp.
